It's not enough to say "it's raining." There are many different degrees, or levels, of how heavy it is raining.
For example, if the rain is very light, you can say "it's sprinkling". If it is extremely heavy, you can say "it is a downpour!"
Keep expanding your vocabulary, and don't give up! Learning a little bit each day is the best way to gain fluency.
